EMBEDDED SYSTEMS · IoT · SOFTWARE

Hi, I’m Sanshay
Katyal.

I build embedded systems, connected products and software — and write about the engineering behind them.

ABOUT ME

I build software that talks to the real world.

I’m Sanshay Katyal, an embedded software engineer who likes working at the boundary between code, electronics and machines.

Most of my work revolves around connected hardware, vehicle electronics, control systems and the tooling needed to make complex systems understandable.

PROFILE / 01 BUILDING

From firmware to full systems.

I enjoy taking a problem from the first signal on a scope or CAN trace all the way to a working product, dashboard or vehicle subsystem. That means moving comfortably between firmware, networking, sensors, debugging, backend logic and user-facing software.

//

Make the hardware observable. Make the software understandable. Then make the whole system reliable.

WHAT I WORK ON / 03

Systems I like getting my hands on.

Some of the domains that keep showing up on my workbench.

01

Vehicle electronics

CAN-connected ECUs, VCU logic, controls, instrumentation and the debugging needed to make vehicle subsystems cooperate.

CANVCUEV
02

Connected devices

ESP32-based hardware, sensors, local networks and IoT systems that turn physical-world data into something useful.

ESP32Wi-FiIoT
03

UAVs & FPV

Flight hardware, radio links, tuning and the systems thinking that makes a fast-moving flying machine predictable.
